Annette “Dana” Koczat Kenyon, 90, of Methuen passed away Friday, February 27th, 2015 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. She was born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Marie and John Finnegan. She was educated in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School. She had a beautiful singing voice and was a member of the high school choir.

Dana was employed as a mathematician at the former O’Donnell-Usen Fisheries Corp in Boston, MA where she retired in 1992. She also worked as a hostess at the former Maverick Restaurant and the Valley Steak House.

Dana enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and had a love for bingo and card games, especially 45’s.

She was the widow of John J. Koczat who died in 1961, and also Robert Kenyon.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Gallagher and her husband Bill of Methuen; her daughter Linda Koczat and her partner Russell Blake of Lawrence and her son John Koczat of Methuen; her three grandchildren Sean Gallagher and his wife Brenda of Epping, NH, Kelly Gallagher and her partner Aaron Hastings of Manchester, NH, and Stacy Quigley and her husband John of Methuen, and eight great-grandchildren Shannon, Ryen, Molly and Kacey of Epping, NH; Rylie and Avery of Manchester, NH, and Gabriel and Jacob of Methuen.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 4th from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA, with a service at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
