Anita C. Arlitt, 95 of Methuen and beloved wife of the late, Benjamin J. Arlitt, Sr. passed away on Sunday January 12, 2017 at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, Lawrence.  She was the oldest of five siblings.  Anita was a member of the ladies auxiliary of Koza’s Café, Methuen.  She was an avid bowler, loved to travel, enjoyed trips to the beach and being around her family.  Anita had a fiery personality and made friends everywhere she went especially at MI day care.

She was predeceased by her four siblings, Roland, Edmond, Robert and Theresa and her son, David Arlitt, Sr and her granddaughter, Jodie A. (Arlitt) Carr.  Her family members include her younger sister, Dolores Torosian and her children, Benjamin J. Arlitt, Jr and his wife, Alice of Lawrence, Steven Arlitt and his wife, Debbie of Methuen and her daughter, Glenda Pelletier of Pelham, NH.   She also leaves several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and a great great grandchild as well as nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday February 15, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.  Funeral services will be on Thursday February 16 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
