Ana Regina (Diaz) Guzman, 95, of Lawrence passed away at her home on Saturday, March 21st surrounded by her loving family. Ana was born on January 20, 1920 in Loma de Cabrera, Dominican Republic, the daughter of Ana Josefa Diaz and Luis Nunez. She was the widow of Jose Diego Guzman. Ana had eleven children, fifty-one grandchildren, fifty-three great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Ana was a member of the Free Methodist Church “New Hope”, in Lawrence, MA. She enjoyed reading the bible, singing and praying for those in need. She loved going shopping with her daughters and spending time with the family. Through writing Ana expressed her thoughts and feelings. She enjoyed watching T.V., especially cartoons, sports, and the news. With her expressive eyes, she’d let you know how she felt.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 25th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA, with a religious service at 6:00pm in the funeral home chapel. The following day, visitors are invited to join the family at the funeral home at 10:00am to join the procession to Elmwood Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:00am.
